Business As Unusual

To our valued clients, partners and friends,

In this “business as unusual” time, I wanted to personally reach out to the companies and organizations we work with to let you know how we’re addressing the current issues surrounding COVID-19.

The situation in Alberta changed rapidly over the weekend and we made the decision to allow all WS employees to work from home for the next two weeks. We believe that it is our responsibility to help in any way we can to #flattenthecurve, starting in the communities where we live, work, and play. We will reassess the situation at the end of this time period.

With many of our clients based in cities spread across North America, we are well versed in working remotely with those we provide solutions for. Additionally, our WORKshift program has been in place for many years, empowering our staff to work from home seamlessly, taking advantage of the many technologies now available for collaboration and communication. For our clients who are local to us, we will be moving all scheduled meetings to online meeting formats.

Even under normal circumstances, our team uses software like WebEx, Slack, and G Suite to effectively and efficiently Solve With Soul. We will continue to employ these tools in the coming weeks, as well as exploring features within those tools we’ve traditionally not needed (video conferencing has proven to be a huge hit, allowing us a sneak peek at everyone’s home decor and pets who really insist on taking part in the conversation). We’re happy to help with troubleshooting any technical difficulties you might encounter as well. Our goal is for this transition to feel as seamless as possible for our clients.

Our teams have also been keeping this issue top of mind as we consider the projects and campaigns we are currently delivering to your audiences. We deeply value the trust you place in us to deliver your brand messages and will strive to communicate any recommendations for adjusting messaging or timing as we move forward together in this uncertain time. We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions you might have, as well as to share with us any measures you are taking in relation to COVID-19 that may affect the timelines of your projects.

It is my firm belief that we will look back on this time and see how we were able to rise up and meet the challenges that this situation created, together. It won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it.

Sincerely,

Jeff Groeneveld
President, WS
