Media Director Michelle Menard Brings A Wealth of Media Experience to WS

Media Director Michelle Menard delivers wide-ranging, global experience, with past clients including Godiva, Tiffany and Co. and Colgate.

Michelle began her Media Director role with WS in September 2019. She brings over nine years of media experience, including time at Wavemaker in London, one of the largest media agencies in the world. “Michelle is a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of media,” says WS Executive VP, Intelligence, Susan Groeneveld. “More importantly, she understands that audience behaviour and measurable awareness and engagement work in lock-step to help our clients reach their business goals. Michelle is constantly looking to refine, readjust and redeploy based on key performance indicators.”

With a Bachelor of Business Admin, Michelle majored in Marketing and minored in International Business. Michelle’s extensive knowledge of communications strategy, media planning, media buying, optimization and measurement pairs perfectly with the existing performance, creative, strategy and content teams at WS. “I’m excited to help change people’s mindset around media. Back when ‘digital’ was shiny and new, people started to view traditional media channels as ‘old-school,’ but they’ve always been important – and they will continue to be a major part of high-performance campaigns.”

Michelle’s love of travel and admiration for cultures around the world means that she’s always planning the next big trip, creating detailed itineraries to make the most of her time spent abroad. “I’m inspired by life in different places – the cultures in places that I visit or will visit. One of my favourite, and underrated, places to travel to is York, England. It’s the cutest little town.”
